Aurum Mead
Aurum Mead
AURUM is a local honey wine producer, located in beautiful Byron Bay. Their world-first wines are made exclusively from local Northern Rivers honey and native botanicals. The range was conceived by winemaker/brewer Louis Costa as an alternative to wine and champagne, with a sense of terroir and provenance to highlight the natural environment of the Northern Rivers. AURUM has just won Best Champion Show Mead and a gold medal at the Australian National Mead Competition, and was named in ‘Top 20 Drinks of 2024’ in the Australian Financial Review. AURUM honey wines are also one of the most sustainable alcoholic beverages in the world. Despite being alcoholic (around 11% alc.vol) they are completely natural and produce no headaches or hangovers due to the natural fermentation process! At the Harvest Producers’ Hub, AURUM will be offering honey wine tastings with optional matching canapés curated by award-winning French Michelin Chef, Anthony Hamon, showcasing local Northern Rivers produce. You’ll also be able to buy bottles of their honey wines and premium high-strength Manuka honey.

Hi-D
Hi-D
The team at Hi-D love mushrooms, and they love good health - and they also love the amazing food growing options in the Northern Rivers. Hi-D are proud to offer you a wholefood, organic, plant-based option for Vitamin D, sourced from some of the finest locally grown mushrooms. Most options available are either chemically processed or chemically extracted from sheep's skin lanolin. However, Hi-D use locally grown, organic mushrooms to make the first natural wholefood organic Vitamin D from medicinal mushrooms (such as shiitake and oyster) available in Australia. Their Vitamin D – obtained with their own invented technology – is 100% shiitake mushrooms, and nothing else! No additives, chemicals, preservatives, GMO, and definitely no nasties! By using local suppliers, Hi-D is contributing to the regional circular economy, with sustainability their middle name! Because they don’t use any chemicals, additives, etc. and not even water (!!!) - and because mushrooms have one of the lowest carbon footprints of all foods, their products are highly environmentally sustainable. Come chat with them at the Harvest Hub and try some Hi-D for yourself!
Hiatus Beers
Hiatus Beers
Founded in 2022, Hiatus Beers is all about brewing crisp, refreshing, full-flavoured, non-alcoholic beer. Founders Jules Ryan, Nic Sandery and Nick Detmold have been in the alcoholic drinks industry for 20 years and with age, health and young families, had all become interested in the ‘no and low’ space - more from a perspective of managing alcohol consumption rather than removing it completely. Jules and Nick shared the view there was room in the market for a premium dedicated non-alcohol beer brand and Nic was already making some fantastic non-alcoholic beers at his brewery, Molly Rose, in Melbourne. Hiatus Beers are for anyone looking to take a break from alcohol. So if you are thinking about taking a break for a day, a week, a month or just the next round, come along to the Harvest Producers’ Hub and check out their range, including their first release Non-Alcoholic Pacific Ale (NAPA) with all the classic tropical aromas and flavours and a hint of balancing bitterness.
